Animal Registry & Breed Society Programs

This system automatically prints out a “passport” that can accompany the animal to slaughter and to the market; the passport will meet all EU standards. Best of all, producers will be able to send their records to the Bakewell system electronically.
Designed and tested by farmers, this specialized software is very farmer-friendly and is intended specifically for pedigree livestock breeders. Animal Record lets you keep all your livestock records are in one place. You can record pedigree, progeny, movement, veterinary, breeding and weight records, with each animal individually identified. The Animal Record system is the only system that will also include individual animal linear measurement data as well as other production data.
Normally priced at $750, we are able to offer this program at the discounted price of $600.
In addition, we have purchased software for our own registry (called the Bakewell Breed Society) that will record information about the Rotokawa Devons and other bulls that we have sold semen. Producers who want to register their animals in the Bakewell Breed Society system will be able to make better decisions about their breeding program in the future.
